What people need to know about Coach Red Pill (aka Gonzalo Lira) is that he was never an ally to our movement, he was never even really sympathetic to White Nationalism at all — he just liked the Murdoch Murdoch memes. I used to be a follower of his content on YouTube, because he told some truths about women and gave some reasonable life advice. However, when he got involved with the whole internet bloodsports scene and affiliated himself with figures from the AltRight, he kept making efforts to separate himself and his beliefs from White Nationalism — he was basically trying to rebrand civic nationalism by calling himself “Hard Right.” He made several videos throughout the years slyly criticizing racial nationalism in between going on livestream discussions with people from the AltRight, and then making videos for his mostly brown-male audience about how to score White women in Ukraine.

Anyone that had been following CRP (Gonzalo Lira) since 2017 can attest to this. He started out on YouTube making manosphere related content and giving life advice, then he jumped on the dissident right bandwagon during the internet bloodsports era, and then he became a Putin shill — despite claiming to have been an anti-communist years before, he seems to have ignored all the red Soviet flag waving by Putin’s green men.

If you followed him years ago then you can connect the dots: he is (or rather was) a con artist.

Why do I talk about CRP/Gonzalo so much? Because it’s off putting for me to see so many people within the DR acting like he’s their guy being martyred for the greater cause of White wellbeing against the you-know-who world order. When in truth, he hates White Nationalism, he said he would kill them all and he sees race mixing as THE solution to end all identity politics.

If you can’t be vigilant and pay attention to where people actually stand on the core issues, if you can’t notice the critical discrepancies and hold them accountable when they’re two faced, your movement will fill up with backstabbers, con artists and communists.

It’s a shame the AltRight fell in love with synthwave over jazz fusion (the White man’s jazz) the latter of which I think captures the feel of the 80s far better, and it’s arguably superior in taste. Of course, jazz fusion requires a much higher degree of skill and talent, and we live in a dark period of culture in the west, where most musicians cannot even read or write musical notation nor play outside of the 4/4 pop time-signature — it’s all been dumbed down to help facilitate racial equality. Perhaps we wouldn’t feel as much nostalgia for better music from the past if our artists could unshackle themselves from these imposed limitations. Of course, having better music and other forms of high culture now would directly clash with the facade of racial equality that the current system has to try to keep up. That’s why we should embrace high culture wherever we can, because to do is inherently “supremacist.” It separates us from them.

People mistakenly believe that “jazz” is negro music, when it’s actually just a giant catchall term like “rock.” The mainstream entertainment media likes these loose catchall terms because it allows them to conflate White genres of music with negro music, and then they can say “black people invented this and that, cultural appropriation, blah blah... see whitey, jazz, rock and peanut butter are black inventions!” Jazz fusion is to jazz what thrash metal is to 1950s rock and roll, the musical and racial differences are that vast. As time progressed, “jazz” music got much more White, and thus evolved into something more melodic, structured, advanced, technical, deep and colorful — it became something completely different, a whole different genre.

I don’t feel bad for what happened to Gonzalo because he openly stated he would kill people like me (people like us) and he meant it — it wasn’t an emotional outburst on his part. When he said he wanted to kill us, it was congruent with his brand of violent civic nationalism.

Maybe Gonzalo Lira is still alive and his disappearance is just part of some publicity stunt, but if he is, it just makes him more of a scumbag con artist doesn’t it?

How I feel every morning

Back in time, around 2018, Millennial Woes had a recorded discussion with Coach Red Shill (Gonzalo Lira), when the subject of racial nationalism came up, Gonzalo said “Whites have just run out of steam man, therefore White Nationalism isn’t viable.” CRP/Gonzalo also said “the AltRight guys recognize the problem but they’re wrong about the solutions.”

Why am I bringing this up? Because some people STILL want to believe that CRP/Gonzalo somehow changed his mind and became sympathetic to WNism.

Compare that stance from Gonzalo in 2018 to what he believed right before he died/disappeared — he believed that all “racial essentialists” should be killed. The video I made about CRP/Gonzalo was taken from a livestream he did just a few months ago, where he explicitly stated that “racial essentialists” (that includes Nationalists) should be shot dead, and he said “the melting pot model is the only solution.”

There is quite a lot of cultural overlap between Nationalism and Black Metal. It is not just that many Black Metal fans somehow find themselves drawn towards Nationalism, but there seems to be a common vision of the heroic and romantic, as well as an adversarial spirit found in Black Metal, a longing for something authentic and perennial in the past.

Unfortunately because of its Punk roots, many Leftists have tried to subvert the genre for their own worldview, mistaking this adversarial spirit for a simple revolution against authority. Apparently "fascism has no home in metal", but the opposite is in fact true. Anything which struggles against the elements in such a way is inherently elitist, exclusive and has inequality at its most basic assumption.

Among the theatrical Satanism that comes from the culture of Shock Rock and Horror cinema, there are many elements within it that are very Nietzschean, others that are Evolan, a revolt against the modern world within an aura of darkness, and it is no wonder that so many bands have drawn on both of these writers. I have spent over half my life involved in Black Metal, both as a listener and as a musician and more, so its philosophy is intrinsically tied to other aspects of my worldview.

This atavistic spirit of heroism and warriorhood demands a romanticism and nationalism, it does not exist in a nihilistic vacuum to tear down all boundaries like those who imagine a modern and inclusive hugbox. It is dissident and reactionary rather than anti-authority, it may be listened internationally, but it is inherently European music in its spirit.

There was a very interesting essay that I read a few years ago on The Warden Post which explored this theme in some detail, but unfortunately it is no longer available.

I’m sure many of you here think I’ve been way too savage with regard to CRP/Gonzalo and besmirching him after his likely death; I started to feel bad about it at one point, but then I saw pictures of Ukrainian children that had their face blown off by artillery. After seeing that, I just thought, “fuck him for cheerleading the invasion of a country he was a guest in, an invasion that has imposed more death and suffering upon White people.” Even if the invasion was justified by something we don’t know yet, CRP had no right to pick a side the way he did, pretending to be some kind of journalist while deliberately spreading pro-Russian propaganda via his bad predictions. His sudden fame as a “journalist” was built upon the suffering of White people in a country he wasn’t even from.

He belongs in hell.

Here’s a thought experiment: If I became the dictator of America and I banned all LGBTQ stuff, took control of the media and built churches, would the people currently supporting the invasion of Ukraine switch sides and support me if I decided to use the US military to invade Russia?

And let’s pretend I was a civnat dictator in this hypothetical scenario, just like Putin.
