One thing we noted on a recent episode about economics was that UBI seems to be a shift in how the state views its population, as an impediment more than an asset. UBI is the last step in the government deciding that it's easier to just get it's people to shut up and generate what wealth it can some other way (typically selling off its own resources)

A lot of these people in the DR that don’t believe that rights exist nor matter are just like upper-crust hipsters that don’t care about money and belittle everyone that has to work for it, because their rich parents continue to give them a huge allowance and buy them everything.

The real crutch is the false sense of power they feel from scoring points in philosophy debates in some chatroom. When they end up in a court room for wrongthink or owning a banned item/book, suddenly they’ll believe in rights.

Same thing with the military.

Some years back I wrote a very anti-police article. In it I explained the legal cases that declare the police have no duty to protect you and those consequences.

It’s very relevant again now in light of the recent school shooting where the police once again refused to enter the building to protect anybody.

One of the worst trends we can see in the dissident right is the fetishization of power for power's own sake:
"Yes, the Jewish Globohomo Regime has unchecked managerial power, but wouldn't it be BASED and EPIC if we were the ones with unchecked managerial power?"

Opposing the system and gumming up its machinations isn't contrarian enough for this sort of person—we have to be even more contrarian than that by acknowledging that the system is bad, but then fantasizing about an identical system led by /ourguys/.

I don't disagree that wielding power to destroy our enemies would be the right thing to do, but fantasizing about it in this hyper-contrarian manner is putting several carts before the horse.

Even without these school shootings, public schools weren’t a safe environment to begin with. I recall seeing a lot of violence and drugs the few times I tried public school as a kid, and it wasn’t too uncommon to hear stories from the near by public school where someone need hospitalization after a fight — not the kind where they just get a black eye, the kind where someone needs to be airlifted for emergency surgery.

Public schools aren’t all that different from prisons, especially thanks to diversity.

Public schools in America are just a day care center/zoo for the working class and black & brown population to dump off their ill-tempered offspring.

Good time to mention that one of the main planks of the anti-liberal/anti-libertarian view is false. Immigration doesn't occur because the government has relinquished power over borders etc in the name of freedom. If British people were free, we would control entry into our own land(s) and there would thus be almost no immigration, and the traitors who called for it would be banished or worse. Only in a system of state control is this treason possible.

Big powerful government = more diversity.

The system doesn’t want us lowly civilians to have military grade weapons because the system doesn’t want to face even a fair fight when it employ its military force to suppress us. And it’s willing to facilitate any tragedy to create the pretexts necessary to change the balance of firepower in its favor.
