This article highlights yet another reason why having gun rights is so important: with gun rights, you have a gun culture and thus a much larger pool of military age males to draw from that have some experience with firearms, which means they’d require less training. The vast majority of these new Russian connoscripts probably have no significant experience operating firearms whatsoever; so they have no idea about things like: how to zero a rifle’s sights so that point of aim is point of impact, effective range, how to clear jams in a pinch, how to maintain the rifle, trigger control and etc... Their abject lack of experience with firearms, thanks to gay gun control laws, means they’ll have less time learning how to use radios, unit tactics, repairing and driving armored vehicles and etc...

You definitely don’t need any sort of “official military training” to learn how to use a rifle, you could learn in a couple days watching YouTube videos and a couple trips to the range — it’s not rocket science; that’s how I did it. But waiting until there’s a war to teach your men how to use a rifle is going to hinder their mobilization effort, and I think it’ll cost the Russian side many more lives.

The Las Vegas shooting is memory-holed whenever it’s not being used to push for gun control, because the establishment doesn’t want people being over exposed to an official narrative so full of holes that they may begin to question it. There’s so much that’s off, like the ATF declared that the shooter used a bumpstock without having ever inspected the weapons at the scene, which led to Trump signing off on the bumpstock ban. Still, no one seems to really know anything about Stephen Paddock’s motive nor what weapons were actually used, the MSM just says AR15s to increase pressure to ban them. Back in 2017, an expert using forensic acoustic analysis concluded that there were at least two shooters, which corroborates with what witness say they saw at the time, and now those witnesses are disappearing.

Like so many mass shootings where the perpetrator is a white guy, it glows.

I haven't commented on the Nordstream event, because I generally try to avoid 'Current Thing'. However, I'm a little concerned about the anti-American rhetoric doing the rounds among European nationalists. I can't help but speculate that the Money Masters are setting America up as a new bogeyman of sorts, whilst letting dissidents think that they want us to believe Russia did it. Sort of a double-bluff. They know full well that we don't trust mainstream news, and they play on that. They used the same tactic in early 2020 by leaking footage through alternative media of Chinese dropping dead in the street whilst officially downplaying Coronavirus, causing most dissidents to criticize Western governments for their inaction in the face of this impending pandemic. Just something to consider.

As always, a people should be appraised separately from their government. 'America' (the people) is largely good. The corporate/financial/governmental machine (which tragically misleads and misrepresents the people) is bad. Same goes for most nations on Earth.

Which is ironically the opposite of what American patriots think. I don’t know any right-leaning Americans that think the Washington regime is doing a great job — literally zero.

If you hate the Washington regime so much, that’s another good reason to talk about and support the Second Amendment. Even if you think patriots will never do anything (I disagree) it’s a sword hanging over the Washington regime’s head. I have noticed that rhetoric has shifted from being anti-Globalist or anti-NWO or anti-ZOG to being explicitly anti-American, blaming Americans for everything that Globalist elites are doing.

The shift happened slowly over the past couple of years, but significantly ramped up after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Even people who used to blame everything on Jews or "Zionists" now blame everything on Americans (or Anglos, but mostly Americans). Very suspicious...

Pox, I think what the original poster that you’re responding to was trying to articulate is that Americans value freedom and rights more than Europeans typically do. For example, they don’t have to be in a state of war against a foreign power to think “gosh, now I should allowed to have a gun.” Conservative Americans typically think differently: they think they should always have arms and be ready for something... As if it’s just a part of who they are at all times, because they have this instinct that could only be described as belonging to a free Indo European warrior caste sort of people, the kind they’re descended from — that’s the best explanation I can come up with right now, and it’s the only explanation that makes any sense given the kind of Europeans that left Europe to be here. And I think even you would agree that they’re wiser and better off than their European brethren in at least this one aspect.
