In the world of 🙂 Hello Pixel, everything starts with a simple step. The first claim, the first pixel leaving Storage—it’s not just a number; it marks the beginning of a journey. We know that even the smallest details can impact the entire ecosystem.

The Cycle Is More Than Just Statistics

Over the past period, we have observed the development of the in-game economy. We have studied how you make decisions, how you level up and optimize your resources, and which actions truly drive your progress. Interestingly, the moment that was meant to serve as a significant starting point has gradually become mundane—almost unnoticed. We want to restore the true significance of that initial step.

The First Transaction

We want every step to matter. The development of the Storage should be perceived not as a mere formality, but as a conscious strategic decision. The motivation to level up should come not only from bonuses but also from the understanding that “this is more profitable.” That’s why we have decided that the first step should cost more than before.

Why Is This Necessary?

These changes will help:
- Increase the value of developing the Storage.
- Make the leveling process more meaningful.
- Balance the game’s economy in the long term.
- Give the starting point real significance.

Summary:

- Zero transactions remain tax-free (once a day, with an update at 00:00 UTC).
- The new cost for the first transaction is 0.0015625 SGB (approximately $0.000007).
- Future changes will increasingly emphasize the need for Storage development.
- This change is already live on the Songbird network and is tied to the upcoming introduction of Boosts (available only in the web version).
- On the 🤖SKALE Europa network, the transaction fee remains the same, but it will be increased with the next patch.
- Of course, you can play however you like, but now conscious decisions will be rewarded more than random actions. Hello Pixel is all about choice, and now that choice has become even more important.

What are Boosters?

Boosters are a brand-new type of NFT — temporary power-ups that increase your mining speed for a limited time and burn after their effect expires.

You can get Boosters in two ways:

1️⃣ Buy them in the web store — right now there’s a 50% discount!
2️⃣ Craft them in the 👷‍♂️Forge by burning unnecessary NFTs.

To craft a Booster, you simply need to burn any NFT item (except Boosters themselves).
Depending on the rarity of the burned NFT, you will receive a Booster Box of the same rarity (drop rates are shown on the announcement cover):

A New Era in the Project Economy: Introducing the Drone System and Pixel Dust!

Friends, we are taking an important step in the development of our ecosystem — we are launching a completely new resource extraction system using drones and introducing a unique in-game asset — Pixel Dust!

This isn’t just another update; it’s a key economic element that:
🟪 Creates a complete cycle of generating and utilizing valuable resources
🟪 Provides active players with new opportunities for earning and growth
🟪 Makes the gameplay deeper and more strategically engaging

1. Pixel Dust (PXLD) — The Key Resource
Purpose:

- It is burned to gain Syndicate experience.
- In the future, it will be required for purchasing lands and resource buildings.
- It serves as the primary resource for the Syndicate’s development.

2. Drone — The Extraction Tool
Features:

- It is used for extracting Pixel Dust.
- It is an NFT with the following parameters:
- Rarity (5 levels): Influences the extraction yield.
- Limited number of uses: It loses durability after each use.
- Requires equipping in your inventory before use.

3. Mine — The Extraction Site
Basic Mechanics:

- It does not work without a drone.
- It is available to all players starting from level 1.
- It can be upgraded using PXLs to increase extraction efficiency.

4. Ways to Acquire Drones
Pixel Box:

- Currency: PXLs
- Cooldown: 7 days (can be opened once a week)
- Chance for a rare drone: Reduced
- Feature: Drones obtained cannot be sold (non-tradable)

SGB Chest:

- Currency: SGB
- Cooldown: None (can be opened at any time)
- Chance for a rare drone: Increased
- Feature: Drones obtained can be sold (tradable)

5. Key Features of the Drones

- Drones from Pixel chests: Cannot be sold but can be used for personal extraction.
- Drones from SGB chests: Can be resold on the marketplace.
- The rarity of a drone directly affects the volume of Pixel Dust (PXLD) harvested.

Summary:

- Drones are temporary NFTs with varying extraction efficiencies.
- Pixel Dust is the core resource for developing the Syndicate, purchasing lands, and construction.
- There are two ways to acquire drones — a free option (using PXLs) and a paid option with different conditions.
- The Mine can be upgraded to increase PXLD reward rate.
