The idea that the Third Reich wanted to genocide all Slavs as "subhumans" is debunked by the Nuremberg Laws, which explicitly barred Jews but not Slavs from being German citizens. The laws stated that only those of German or "German kindred" blood could be citizens. The Nazis didn't seem to care these laws left room for Slavs to be considered kindred of the Germans, while they were extremely clear about Jews.
