Dear Humanode community,
We are glad to present you version 0.9.5 of our whitepaper! We want to share our thoughts and thorough research that we have carried out on how to create a public permissionless financial network based on Merkle-CRDT. The paper sheds light on fully homomorphic encryption in biometric processing, Merkle-CRDT mechanism for decentralized verification of transactions, Fath monetary algorithm, a DAO named "Vortex" and so much more.
Development is already in progress and until the end of this year we will start inviting our friends and dedicated followers to take part in closed Alpha tests. So stay tuned!
Sincerely,
Humanode Core

Dear community,
Today we would like to present you a mini-series of lectures on @humanode project delivered by Shannon Higgins — Humanode Core member. We acknowledge that some technical aspects of Humanode might be hard for understanding that is why we will be going over various aspects step by step in simple terms.
Lecture I gives a basic overview of centralized and decentralized financial networks and goes over the stacks of technology used in Humanode network creation. Subsequent lectures will delve into technical features and underlying principles much more deeply.
Forby, for our Japanese community we have this very special translation.
We hope that the lectures will shed light on details that might be hard for non-tech savvy individuals to perceive.
Sincerely,
Humanode Core

Humanode app v0.0.1 release and invitation to closed Alpha tests
Dear Friends and Humanodes,
Today we would like to share with you that we have commenced our 1st tests of FHEd biometric processing authentication schemes.
Humanode app is a cross-platform native application that implements most of the features for the upcoming MVP launch. Simply put, this is version 0.0.1, with a limited set of features. The app is built from scratch and combines low-level optimized components (such as Dlib with face recognition and embedding models), as well as high-level engines such as QtQuick (Qt-framework) and built-in Chromium browser for the modern UI/UX experience.
The server side is real: it stores biometric data, performs matching, generates private keys and addresses. The address and QR code in the mocked dashboard are real, you could send tokens already (haha you can’t). The server will be replaced with a decentralized node network soon, when FHE and secret contracts will be debugged enough.
When the debugging is done we will be able to conduct a proper Merkle-CRDT-based transactions.
With passion in our hearts we want to start inviting you to our closed Alpha!
Sincerely,
Humanode team

Humanode app v0.0.1 release and invitation to closed Alpha tests
Dear Friends and Humanodes,
Dear Friends and Humanodes!
Submissions for the Alpha tests are now suspended. The plan was to choose from 50 submissions but got 170% more, so we are to review every single one of them fairly.
Those who are granted access will receive an email invitation with further details.
And now some interesting statistics about our participants:
● The most popular company is ‘Individual’ (35%), so it’s great that crypto supports personal financial freedom.
● The most popular occupation is ‘Developer’ (32%), but there is also a ‘Neuroradiologist’, a ‘Head of Waste Management Department’, and at least one ‘Geospatial Specialist’.
● 37% were already Paradigm subs, so thank you for that. And to 63% of newcomers - welcome!
● 60% are supporters of PoS, which is a positive trend in our opinion. Good luck to mimblewimble and Hashgraph guys, the technology has good potential. 13% said that they like Merkle-CRDT the most but come on guys, you haven’t even seen a single Merkle-CRDT transaction go through.

Dear Friends and Humanodes,
Today we would like to present you the second episode of mini-series of lectures on Humanode project delivered by Shannon Higgins — Humanode Core member. We acknowledge that some technical aspects of Humanode might be hard for understanding that is why we will be going over various aspects step by step in simple terms.
In this episode Shannon goes over various aspects of Merkle Clocks and Merkle-DAGs as well as Delta-state CRDTs. In this step by step explanation he tries to cover all the major points of how Merkle-CRDT mechanism works in Humanode network. We hope that the lecture will shed light on details that might be hard for non-tech savvy individuals to perceive.
For our Japanese community we have this very special translation.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Humanode team
