🔺 Telegram Implementation
Our team is actively integrating BotBasher with Telegram. The prototype integration scheme is now complete, and all components have been developed into a cohesive system. Check out the details here.

🔺 Blockchain Progress
Our development team continues to enhance Humanode's blockchain infrastructure with Substrate updates. We are polishing v0.9.42 and v0.9.43, and are eager to transition to Polkadot SDK v1.0. For detailed insights, check out the latest on the Humanode GitHub.

🔺BotBasher UX Update
We introduced a new feature in BotBasher biometric authorization. Now, during the authorization process, users will see their Discord account details (username and avatar) to ensure they are linking to the right account.

🔺 Mainnet Website Localization
Significant progress has been made in localizing the Humanode website. Several locales are almost ready. We also adjusted the header, and fonts, and made some minor fixes.

It will take a few more failed airdrop distributions where Sybil accounts had a successful attack while many real users ended up with nothing until the whole industry will be using real Sybil-resistance tech.

Greetings, tech geeks and enthusiasts! We’re excited to bring you the latest Humanode updates from the last two weeks.

First, bridging WETH from Ethereum to Humanode and vice versa is now available, thanks to Chainport’s cross-chain bridging technology. This development will soon enable the launch of the WETH/HMND LP staking pool on the Impossible Finance DEX, significantly enhancing our ecosystem’s liquidity. Unlike stablecoins, WETH offers dynamic value tied to Ethereum, presenting stakers who prefer dynamic pools with the opportunity for higher returns.

But that’s not all. ChainPort is also working on enabling WETH bridging from other supported chains, including Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, Optimism, and more to Humanode, with much lower fees. You can bridge WETH by visiting the ChainPort app: Bridge WETH.

For those who prefer dynamic pools over stables, Humanode has launched WETH/WeHMND LP Biostaking. 🚀

Starting today, June 13th, 2024 at 12:00 UTC, you can add liquidity to the WETH/WeHMND pair and stake your LP tokens on Humanode Biostaker. It involves pairing Wrapped Ethereum (WETH) with Wrapped Humanode (WeHMND) tokens to create a liquidity pool. By doing so, you help provide the necessary liquidity for trades and transactions on the network.

Biostaking rewards will start tomorrow, June 14th, 2024 at 12:00 UTC. This means that starting tomorrow, you can start earning rewards. Humanode Biostaking offers an annual percentage rate (APR) ranging from 100% to 1000%, depending on various factors like the total amount staked and the duration of your stake. It's a Sybil-resistant way to earn passive income while supporting the network.

Here’s the timeline for staking:

🖌️June 13th, 2024 at 12:00 UTC: Liquidity provision and Biostaking opens. Start pairing your WETH and WeHMND tokens to add liquidity and stake your LP tokens.
🖌️June 14th, 2024 at 12:00 UTC: Start earning rewards!

Adding liquidity and staking LP tokens not only provides you with potential rewards but also strengthens the Humanode network, contributing to its overall health and stability.

How to Add Liquidity and Stake:

Step 1. Get HMND on any centralized exchange (CEX).
Step 2. Use the Humanode internal swap to turn your HMND into eHMND. Or directly
Step 3. Convert ETH to WETH: Swap your ETH for WETH using any decentralized exchange (DEX) or directly in your wallet. Need Help Swapping? Go to Uniswap, connect your wallet, select ETH and WETH, and swap.
Step 4. Port Your WETH to Humanode: Use ChainPort to move your WETH from the Ethereum network to the Humanode network. Port Your WETH: https://link.humanode.io/bridge/chainport/weth

🔺Launching WETH/WeHMND LP Biostaking
On June 13th, 2024, we launched the WETH/WeHMND LP Biostaking program. Users can now add liquidity to the WETH/WeHMND pair and stake their LP tokens on the Humanode Biostaker platform. This involves pairing Wrapped Ethereum (WETH) with Wrapped Humanode (WeHMND) tokens to create a liquidity pool, which helps facilitate trades and transactions on the network. We also made minor updates to the WeHMND/USDC staker.

🔺Researching Telegram Integration
Our team is progressing with the integration of BotBasher with Telegram. The initial integration scheme is almost complete, and all components have been harmonized into a cohesive system. Last week, we had a session with experts, discussing implementation details. Based on their feedback, we are refining the scheme and making adjustments.

🔺 Progressing Blockchain
Our developers are continually improving Humanode's blockchain infrastructure with Substrate updates. We are fine-tuning versions v0.9.42 and v0.9.43 and have begun transitioning to Polkadot SDK v1.0. For more detailed information, visit the Humanode GitHub.

🔺Enhancing Blobs’ Integration
We have improved the integration of blobs within the RPC (Remote Procedure Call) system, ensuring more efficient processing across the network.

🔺 Exploring CVM Attestation
We are continuing the research on Confidential Virtual Machine (CVM) protocols attestation, focusing on enabling remote attestation via web browsers. Our aim is to develop a client library that allows for web-based CVM connections, increasing flexibility and accessibility for developers.

Dear humanode community members!

Thank you to all of those who participated in the Humanode Short Story Contest! The time has come to announce the winners!

The winner of the Short Story contest goes to SilverSkye for the creation of “Never letting go: A Vortex Love Story”, most likely the world’s first love story based on Vortex! The storyline was something the creators of Vortex never imagined, and may never come to be, but that is the power of fantasy and imagination! The writer managed to grab a spark of imagination of a “what if…” after understanding the Vortex, and gave it a growth path that we had never imagined. Kudos to SilverSkye!

Second place will be given to Fed0798 for writing “The Ancient City”, a story about struggling governance, the importance of education, and the importance of thinking of the growth of the whole community and not just grabbing power in the hands of a few. Although not themed around Vortex per se, the concepts shared in the short story showed the importance of striving to work for justice and the well-being of all.

The third place was a tough call. However, we will give the prize to Venus1084. The story was one of striving to fight for justice and equality, to preserve the balance of nature, and to develop new technologies, centered around Vortex.

There will be no “special mention” prize.

One thing to note is that there were a number of stories that we were not able to enjoy due to “No permission to view the files”. We truly wished we would have been able to enjoy those stories. One other matter is the use of ChatGPT and other AIs. There were only 5 submissions that were fully written by humans, with one of them being iffy depending on where it was checked, and one submission that some enjoyed but was recognized as an almost direct copy of the story plot of Blade Runner. Although the team recognizes that AIs can assist in many processes, the rules stated that the stories were to be written by humans, and thus all that were labeled to have used ChatGPT for more than 20% of the story, fully confirmed by 4 checkers, were disqualified.

Another weekend, another update to the 4th chapter, the Book of Shogo, from the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel 2067 -the equilibrium, written by Shannon Higgins, the Humanode media team lead.
