With all of the excitement over the weekend, we pushed this back to Monday, so, although it is the start of the week, welcome to part 2 of the 7th chapter of of the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel, 2067 -the equilibrium- written by the Humanode Media Team lead Shannon Higgins.
Negotiations with the government continue, but the only reason things are moving forward is that the conglomerates that back the government do not want to deal with the International Tribunal.
It is clear that money is power on one side of the wall, and loss of money, even for reparations for acts of war, is not acceptable. Minako tries her best to tolerate those who live in “older times” that the community has left behind, all to accomplish the Assembly’s goal. More land. Legal land that they can claim their own.
