After all, the members of the media team are trained writers and journalists, and without allowing them to just go out once in a while to freely talk to people or do stories they want to do, they tend to get unruly and start to let their wild sides go rampant.

Their demands this time are simple. “We want to talk to bonafide Human nodes!”

Dear human nodes, LP stakers, and verified humans,

We have an important announcement to share with you regarding the biometrics servers on the Humanode chain and for Botbasher. There will be a scheduled reset to the biometrics servers for CVM and biometrics upgrades on Thursday April 3rd, 2025.

➡️ For node runners, this update means that you will need to go through bioauthentication enrollment to ensure that your node continues to run seamlessly.

We understand that this reset is time-sensitive, and we will make a quick announcement before the reset is initiated so that everyone is ready to re-enroll and re-authenticate within an epoch to avoid downtime in the validator status. (No, you don’t need to set/rotate keys just re-enroll and re-authenticate)

➡️For those who are participating in LP Staking, the update means that you will need to Biomap again to ensure that you can claim staking rewards.

➡️For those who got verified as unique humans in any Discord server, you will have to reverify and get the role again. Similarly, the server admins using Botbasher for Sybil resistance will have to recreate the assigned role. We will publish the instructions for that separately.

One thing to note is that updates to all three servers will not happen at the same time.

Here’s a guideline for you to stay connected and synced on updates:

1️⃣ We will separately announce when each server is updated so that everyone remains synced.

2️⃣Keep an eye on chain-ops and botbasher-ops channels on the Humanode Discord server to remain updated about the progress.

3️⃣Once the reset is completed, there will be an announcement so that you can start the enrollment and authentication immediately.

Do not worry. This is a regular update scheduled every six months, during which we wipe all the biometric data stored and update our servers. So, if you are a human node, you’ll not lose the longevity of running your node as long as you don't change your substrate address and re-enroll and re-authenticate within 1 to 2 hours after the reset.

On the bright side, this is a perfect opportunity for those who lost their keys or want to change to a Substrate address to run a node on the Humanode network and for those who accidentally connected a wrong Discord account for unique human verification.

📢 Biomapper has been deployed on the Moon!
According to the reports, over 390,000 rabbits have already been bioauthenticated, proving that the ancient Japanese saying that rabbits live on the moon was true.

Specialists claim that adding Sybil-resistance to the moon will greatly assist with cutting down on the scams claiming that the moon is made of cheese, that the cheese will become a big-time business, and that all of their projects are heading straight for the moon.

Dato, co-founder of Humanode, has declined to make any comments concerning rabbits on the moon, or about the carrots he was snacking on.

As the Biomapper story unfolds, the Humanode team is excited to announce that the Biomapper c1 SDK is now available on Story!

For those of you who are wondering what Story is all about, Story is a purpose-built layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for intellectual property. In simple terms, Story allows you to register your IP on the blockchain. This IP could be an image, a song, an RWA, AI training data, or anything in between. You can add usage terms to your IP that specify how others can use it.

The key is that by making IP programmable on the blockchain, it becomes this transparent & decentralized global IP repository where AI agents (or any other software) and humans alike can transact on IP.

Just in case you are new to Biomapper, the Humanode Biomapper is one of the core tools of Humanode, a cryptobiometric Layer-1 Blockchain where one human = one node = one vote, known for its use of private biometrics to fight Sybil attacks and to verify that its users are unique real human beings without needing them go through a KYC process.

Now, by adding Biomapper to Story, this can open a whole new world of possibilities. Yes, not only can it make the apps and services that Story Builders create Sybil-resistant, but it can also possibly open the door to Bioauthenticated IP, proving that the person registering the IP is a unique human being, or perhaps even creating a switch to allow terms like “only authenticated humans may use my IP”.

Dear human nodes,

The biometric servers for Humanode Mainnet have been updated, and reset for Biometric AI upgrades.

Please re-enroll and re-authenticate to ensure that your node continues to run seamlessly without missing an epoch.

Keep in mind that you do not need to rotate the keys but you must re-enroll.

Another thing to note is that this update of the biometric servers will not affect BotBasher and Biomapper verification, and all previous encrypted biometric data is deleted forever during this process.
