Welcome to the second segment of The Book of Dawn, the 10th and final chapter of the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel “2067”—The Equilibrium—written by the Humanode Media Team lead Shannon Higgins.

Although a historical city, Kyoto has always been the seat of the true power in Japan, and needless to say, has its share of dark sides. With the shutdown of the BII BCIs, roughly 20% of the population of Japan has been either knocked offline or killed.

Dawn finds himself in Kyoto, trying to find a solution… or at least a way to soften the blow and to prevent a crash landing of the Nation of Japan.

Biomapper c1 deployed on Ontology EVM

Ontology has spent years building the backbone for self-sovereign identity and privacy onchain. But digital credentials are only as strong as the real humans behind them.

With Biomapper c1 SDK now live on Ontology EVM, builders can add a biometric-based privacy-preserving layer of Sybil resistance, verifying that every identity, credential, and reputation score comes from a unique living person, not a bot or a duplicate.

If you’re ready to add biometric-based Sybil resistance to your app on Ontology EVM, explore the docs and SDK:

Welcome to the third segment of the Book of Dawn, the 10th and final chapter of the Humanode-inspired dystopian novel 2067—The Equilibrium—written by the Humanode Media Team lead Shannon Higgins.

Sometimes, life just happens. The best plans in the world, formulated by some of the most brilliant of minds, can crumble because of the unexpected.

Dawn continues his exploration of the reality of Kyoto after the BCI incident, and finds that things are not as simple as he thought.

Think how much AI projects lose on "free trials" when the same person signs up 10 times with multiple accounts. Humanode can save millions for companies offering free plan.

@storachanetwork
solved this for Bluesky storage freemiums by gating sign-ups with Humanode’s private biometric authentication.

One person, one free sign-up. No KYC, no credit cards. Just a quick face scan.

If you want your freemium sign-ups to go to unique individuals, not just multiple accounts from the same person, Humanode OAuth 2.0 makes it simple for the users.

Biomapper c1 deployed on Aurora.

There’s something unmistakable about the aura of a network that lets builders spin up fully customizable, EVM-compatible Virtual Chains without the headaches of setting up their own L2.

But every ecosystem’s atmosphere comes down to one thing: real people shaping what’s possible.

Now, with Biomapper C1 SDK available on Aurora’s EVM Virtual Chains, you can make sure your apps' presence isn’t just code and wallets but a space for actual, unique humans.

So, if you’re setting up on Aurora and want to add biometric-based private sybil resistance to your app, integration is as easy as installing the SDK and following the guide. All the links you need are below:

Welcome to the weekend, and the final installment of the final chapter, The Book of Dawn, of 2067 -the equilibrium-, the dystopian novel inspired by Humanode and written by Humanode Media lead, Shannon Higgins.

The war is over. But like anything, building and rebuilding always takes more time, effort, and money than it does to childishly tear something down.

Dawn’s hope is to build the foundation for future generations, and truth be told, is not really interested in catering to those bound to century-old traditions, national identities, or gravity, for that matter.

To read the conclusion to the Book of Dawn, grab your best cup of coffee, and click here:https://www.wattpad.com/1567188090-2067-the-equilibrium-the-book-of-dawn-part-4-4

For those of you who are just realizing that something cool was passing by, and want to catch the equilibrium train before it fully departs, click here to visit the index: https://www.wattpad.com/story/365464316-2067-the-equilibrium

NOTICE The conclusion to 2067 -the equilibrium- will be posted next week as an epilogue.

Biomapper C1 deployed on XRPL EVM Sidechain

XRPL EVM Sidechain just opened the gates for EVM-compatible dApps, on a separate chain connected to the XRPL that uses XRP as its native currency, to build on fast, low-cost rails. Fresh ground, new builders, big ideas, and a perfect time to make sure it’s real people shaping what comes next.

Yes, Biomapper C1 SDK is now live on the XRPL EVM Sidechain, meaning that while enjoying fast and low-cost transactions with XRP as gas, builders can make sure their apps have genuine human participation, not artificial noise.

Integrating Biomapper takes just a few lines of code, adding a privacy-preserving layer of Sybil resistance to any XRPL EVM dApp. Every participating address is tied to a unique, living human without KYC or asking for personally identifiable information (PII). One human = one EVM address.

For builders, that means governance, rewards, and interactions stay in the hands of genuine people, not bots or duplicate accounts.

If you’re interested in adding Sybil resistance, check these resources:
