The last two weeks were part of a wild ride full of hard work and worthy contributions — so let’s have a short overview of the thrilling news that has appeared lately.
First and foremost, the team announced a public sale! In a short film named ‘Break the cycle’ published this week it is said that the sale is expected this summer! Stay tuned for more details!
The great news is, the Humanode testnet V2 ‘Shamshel’, the 1st major upgrade that greatly improves the UI/UX, hit 1200+ validators (1206 at the time of writing). And this is just the beginning! Join the testnet, and immortalize your existence as one of the first human nodes in history!
In a recent development update, the team has shared what they’ve been working on over the past two weeks.
As for the network development, they corrected End To End Testing, set the output of the public key as hex instead of SS58, and updated testnet documentation on Github and Gitbook.
The team continues their work on the desktop application. These weeks, they кefactored socket info, uгsed 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost in tunnel, reduced sentry errors, improved WSL status workaround, and updated Squirrel installer.
Considering crypto-biometric search and matching and liveness algorithms, they added and updated editorconfig file, added training and inference code for motion analysis-based liveness detection, and tested facebagnet and fishnet for accuracy comparison.

Hello, human nodes!

Today we would like to announce the first Humanode mascot design competition, which starts today.

We ask the friends to think of and design the mascot for the first Humanode hackathon and conference coming May 2022. Don’t worry about being a pro or not. Doodle down what you think is the perfect mascot that represents the Humanode concepts that you like the most! (If push comes to shove, we can always have the winning mascot “cleaned up” and brushed up by our designer, so don’t let your lack of drawing skills prevent you from the creation of the best mascot ever).

The winner, which will be chosen in one week, will win $500 (USD) and will be able to forever engrave his/her name in Humanode history as the creator of the first Humanode mascot (I mean, think of all the future human nodes who will have to memorize your name, just because there is no way to avoid it especially if you want to play a game of trivia!).

The competition starts now, at this moment, and ends on January 28th, 2022.

As for how to submit your artwork, here is what to do:

Also, they integrated EVM to current Humanode runtime, conducted successful tests of development environment in Truffle and of Metamask on Humanode network.
