TL;DR
Hello, friends and human nodes! These two weeks were truly fruitful for Humanode on so many fronts, and we can’t wait to share some of the most exciting news with you!
After a successful integration into the Humanode Discord server and some internal testing, the Humanode team announced the public release of the Humanode Bot Basher Beta test. Beta testers are able to verify themselves as unique living human beings, and enter the Sybil-resistant channels on the Humanode Discord server. As part of our beta testing, the team will shortly be announcing a brand new contest, in which the final winner will be decided by Sybil-resistant voting that will happen in the channels that will only be available to those who participate in the beta test. Have fun, and make sure to let the team know if you find any bugs that also need bashing in the process!
We never cease to wonder at the progress the Humanode teams have made in recent days. In the latest development update, Humanode teams have shared what they’ve been working on over the past two weeks. As for the network development, they bumped Runtime Spec-version to 103, and implemented proper benchmarking-related code
As for Oauth web, the team reworked the status page and configuration as well as removed mentions of the terminal.
Furthermore, for those who have participated in Option 1 on Tokensoft, the team will shortly be issuing additional token bonuses. The amount to be rewarded is equal to 76,6% of the price difference between Option 1 and Option 2. Every Option 1 holder will receive it in the same wallet used for claiming the original HMND tokens. Option 2 and Option 3 will also be receiving a small additional bonus as some part of their tokens should have been unlocked at the TGE as well. As the listing will occur earlier than the vesting period of Option 2 ends, there should be a just price difference between the two.
Humanodecon mascot design contest has been announced. The deadline is March 7th, 2023, and the voting will commence on March 9th, 2023. Only verified humans will be able to participate in voting so get a verified role in Humanode Discord if you want to participate. **Pay attention to just one detail: you will not be able to claim tokens to a Humanode address if it has locked or vesting tokens - the claiming website will show you an error.
If you'd like to keep all your holdings in one account, we'd advise claiming bonus tokens to a new Humanode address and then transferring them to your main one.

Our dev team is working tirelessly to enhance and advance the Humanode tech side and We have got some major dev updates to cover in this bi-weekly.
1. Major Updates
🔺Updated Humanode Web App
Includes updates in the UI. Now you can check the chain’s sync status, your HMND balance, bio-auth status, and Epoch progress once you scan the QR for bio-authentication. Scan the QR code from the launcher to check the new cool UI.

We have an important announcement to share with you regarding the biometrics servers. There will be a reset to the servers for the update within the next 48 hours.
For node runners, this update means that you will need to go through bioauthentication enrollment to ensure that your node continues to run seamlessly.
This announcement is to let you know beforehand so that you are ready when it’s time to re-enroll.
We understand that this reset is time-sensitive, and we will make a quick announcement on the day the reset is initiated so that everyone is ready to re-enroll and re-authenticate within an epoch to avoid downtime in the validator status.

ii. On the day of the reset, the engineering team will notify you when they start working on the reset and will keep you updated as the process goes on.
iii. Once the reset is completed, there will be an announcement so that you can start the enrollment and authentication immediately.
Don't worry, this reset won't impact the longevity of running your node as long as you don't change your substrate address.
On the bright side, this is a perfect opportunity for those who lost their keys or want to change to substrate address to run a node. All you need to do is run the launcher using the new substrate address.
