one of the more impactful books that i’ve read

Give and Take by Adam Grant

while givers make the bottom of the success ladder, they are also the ones at the top above takers and matchers

givers are happier than the rest

givers always go for win-win

like the idea of karma, what goes around comes around

don’t be afraid to give because in time you’ll receive in abundance

everyone gives in their own ways, it doesn’t have to be monetary, but importantly the act of giving

abundance mindset before outperformance
fear is ‘what if?’
faith is ‘even if.’

change the ‘what if’ in life to ‘even if’

“you’re only as good as you can communicate”

feels overlooked but yet it makes so much sense

if you’re unable to convey your ideas well, then no one will understand you anyway and deem you lower than your capabilities

probably a good aspect to work on given how so many people are terrible at expressing themselves/ideas

I can do it.
I deserve it.
I will get it.

Never attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence

great video

talks about how luck plays such a huge part of our lives and how a small increase in luck (even 1%) can largely change the outcome down the road

most that have achieved success tend to attribute it to themselves and overlook the luck aspect of things

always increase your luck surface area and if you have benefited, do it for others too
It’s easier to learn to avoid things that disturb your peace of mind than it is to force yourself to not get disturbed by them
