constraints are the real life limitless pill. use timers. set deadlines. have a word count. impose a budget. pick a medium. establish a cutoff time. use random prompts. post something every day. limit your tools. creativity thrives on constraints, not options.
to be forced onto the risk curve

People fundamentally misunderstand Gen Z’s attitude to risk taking.
We are not all “degenerate gamblers” that you think we are. (Okay I mean some of us are).
We would rather not take any risk at all.
We would love to just sit in our apartments and cruise…

• The IQ 130 person likes things steady and balanced. They want one perfect routine, a clean and neat environment, and an economy that never shakes too much. They think stability is the ideal state.
• The IQ 145 person has realized that the world naturally works in cycles (ups and downs that keep repeating). Instead of trying to avoid the messy parts, they actually lean into the extremes (boom–bust, order–chaos, clean–messy) because they trust that things will eventually swing back to balance on their own.

Ode to Happiness by Keanu Reeves
I draw a hot sorrow bath
in my despair room
with a misery candle burning
I wash my hair with regret shampoo
after cleaning myself with pain soap
I dry myself with my gorgeous white
one hundred percent and it will never change towel
then smooth on my I don’t deserve lotion
and I hate myself face cream
then I put on my alone again silk pyjamas
and go to sleep
when the hue has gone blue
and you cant quite grin and bear it
let this word picture remind you
it can always be worse
