The Region-Beta Paradox (RBP) is a behavioral science framework that describes the tendency for people to recover faster from more distressing experiences than less distressing ones.
The RBP can be seen when someone is in a situation that is not bad enough to leave, but also not good enough to stay. For example, someone might have a job that pays well and has good benefits, but they don't feel challenged or fulfilled.

how bad must things be before you're willing to make a change?
maybe you're underperforming sticking to lagging narratives, but still making some money
maybe its better that you lose money and pivot to ride market trends because in that way you're forced to make a change
subjective in this case because we all have convictions in different things, which might or might not pay off in the end

When I first read How to Decide: Simple Tools for Making Better Choices by Annie Duke, one of my biggest aha moments was from what she calls Resulting and is more formally known as Outcome Bias.
