i feel like this "cycle" was very different from the previous ones because people genuinely believed it would be easy and that all patterns repeat exactly the same every time. everyone was expecting an alt season right after btc made new aths, which is exactly why it didn’t happen. plus, this cycle had totally new catalysts like trump, etfs, countries adopting btc, mstr, etc.

now the sentiment has completely flipped. most people are bear as fuck, but bitcoin is probably just going to chop around 100k for a while- some whales taking profit at the psychological level while institutional players accumulate moar
