The rubric is "How old were you when you learned this fact?"
I noticed that the👩💻 Ubuntu version in my previous post ends with 06. Usually the version ends with 04 or 10. So I went to wikipedia to study the history of Ubuntu versions.
That's when I found out, the number before the dot represents the year of release and the number after the dot represents the month of release.
It's weird, it's pretty obvious, but I've never even thought about it before🤓

Ubuntu 6.06 was released behind schedule, having been intended as 6.04. It is sometimes jokingly described as their first "Late To Ship" (LTS) release

Debian developer Luca Boccassi announced on the debian-devel mailing list that Debian will switch to a RAM-based Tmpfs system for handling /tmp files in the upcoming Debian 13 "Trixie" release. In this new setup, /tmp will be Tmpfs by default, with files older than 10 days being deleted on new installations. For /var/tmp, the retention period is longer, with files older than 30 days being removed from persistent storage. This change has already been implemented in the testing builds of Debian Trixie. The decision followed extensive discussions, including concerns from Michael Biebl about the potential impacts of cleaning temporary files by default. He emphasized the importance of gathering feedback from all affected parties before finalizing the decision.
