Manta Pacific is an Ethereum L2. To secure TVL for their new chain launching in January, they're doing a campaign for users to deposit (bridge) ETH or USDC into their L2 (Remember Blast L2?)

This then gets converted into:
- STONE: ETH LST, underlying is 100% staked with Lido as of time of writing (Stone Docs)
- wUSDM: wrapped USD, underlying is USDC deployed into various DeFi strats (USDM Docs)

Note that deposits via the Manta bridge can't be withdrawn until Februrary 2024. You can however circumvent this by swapping your converted assets e.g. STONE for ETH on quickswap — you'll eat some spread.

So how are you earning from this?
- you earn yield on your ETH or USDC via underlying yield strategies (min. deposit of 0.25E per wallet)
- you earn Boxes which give you MANTA tokens, either by bridging more ETH/USDC or referring friends
- you can use your STONE or USDM to earn more yield on Manta L2 itself (LP, lending, perps)
- if you farm on the L2 and use protocols you also qualify for their airdrops

Phase 1:
Users bridge and deposit ETH or USDC to earn yield and Manta Box Pieces. The deposit period is open until January 2024.

Phase 2 (I don't quite understand this part):
You can receive STONE and wUSDM within 24 hours to farm within Manta Pacific L2. You can claim MANTA token rewards with NFTs until January 2024 before the deposit ends.

Phase 3:
After 69 days of MANTA token rewards distributed, you can withdraw ETH and USDC back from STONE and wUSDM back from STONE and wUSDM.

Advanced strategies on Manta

Advanced Strat 1: Looping your capital to earn points from bridging (Warning, you gradually lose $ due to slippage)
1. Deposit ETH into Manta using the Manta Paradigm bridge
2. On Quickswap or any other Manta DEX (check defillama), swap STONE back to ETH ( beware of slippage)
3. Bridge your ETH from Manta back to Ethereum using orbiter.finance
4. Repeat Step 1

*for now, this repeated bridging adds to your points (box piece accumulation), this may change so take note


Advanced Strat 2: Arbing STONE discount
1. Bridge ETH to Manta via orbiter.finance instead of the Manta bridge in Strat 1, Step 1
2. Swap ETH to STONE (you should be getting STONE at a discount due to the above strat being abused)
