- crypto payments infrastructure (debit cards, payment terminals/gateways, e-commerce, etc) continues to develop quicker than countries can regulate it
- shopify integrating crypto payments is not new: more than 10+ integrations so far (source)
- most adoption and usage has been concentrated to existing crypto users and third-world nations and economies experiencing hyperinflation
- MAS' finalization of its stablecoin regulatory framework last week is a significant step forward, i expect more regulatory bodies worldwide to follow suit (source)
