I lied. put your clothes back on. today we're going to discuss how for years the media portrayed fangirls as "crazy" when in reality men have been doing the exact same thing with sports for decades. when men riot in the streets if their team wins it's looked at as passionate vs when girls camp outside of a venue peacefully, we're seen as obsessive. band merch is viewed as cringey when men wear jerseys constantly at events where that attire is inappropriate. if I hang a poster in my house I'm childish but if a man decorates an entire room in his team's color that's totally normal.
