🔺The weekly meeting of the CGC2023 Central Committee was held on June 7, 2022 in the presence of Dr. Masoud Soleimani, Head of the Innovation Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells and the Faculty of Novel Medical Technologies of Shahid Beheshti University.
At this meeting, at the suggestion of Dr. Soleimani, the allocation of a special session CAR T-cells in cancer therapy was approved in the CGC2023 Congress. Moreover, the chairmanship of the session and the invitation of national and international key speakers of the session were assigned to him.
In the continuation of the meeting, the proposal to establish Cancer Genomics Research Center (CGRC) was presented and the generals of this plan were agreed upon. The final decision on the establishment of the CGRC was postponed to a visit to the proposed sites and further negotiations.

🔺Holding the first meeting of the Strategic Committee of the Congress CGC2023 with the presence of the heads of the scientific societies and the Central Committee of the Congress (1401/4/1).
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mowla (Scientific Secretary of the Congress) discussed how the idea of holding the Genomics Cancer Congress was formed and thanked the participation of partner scientific societies, and expressed hope that with the support of the societies, we will see the largest scientific and commercialization congress in Iran.
Dr. Ghanei (President of the Congress), while thanking the participation of scientific societies, emphasized that the greatest demand of students and graduates from scientific societies is the development of entrepreneurship and job creation.
After presenting the suggestions and recommendations of the honorable presidents of the scientific societies on how to run the congress as best as possible, the outcome of the discussions and suggestions led to the following important approvals:
🔸 Establishment of the Cancer Genomics Consortium by the participation of all 15 participating scientific societies.
🔸 Establishment of the International Cancer Omics Journal under the liscence of the Genomics Cancer Consortium.
🔸 Using the full capacity of the participating scientific societies in advertisong and attracting the higher number of audiences of the CGC2023 Congress.
🔸 Corresponding with Nimad and INSF to launch a joint call on the subject of Cancer Genomic.
