I'm Mahsa Mollapour Sisakht, Ph.D in Applied Cell Sciences and Post-doctoral fellowship in personalized medicine by Organoid disease modeling from Erasmus Medical Center (EMC), the Netherlands.
right now I'm Assistant professor in Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Biotechnology Research Center, faculty of Pharmacy and my project are focused on pharmacogenetic by using organoid and spheroids model, here my students and I established the first bladder tumor organoid biobank for drug screening in collaboration with innovation center of stem cell and regenerative medicine in TUMS & Emam Hospital and right now we are running multiple projects in collaboration with different institutes in Iran and also in joint with Cancer Institute of EMC in the field of Melanoma, Breast, and Ovarian cancer.

🔹Faculty member at the Dept. of Medical Genetics and Molecular Medicine at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, adjunct senior scientist at the Max-Planck-Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences in Germany, and the co-founder of NanoExirgen Therapeutics, a company developed an mRNA-lipid nanoparticle vaccine against COVID-19 (Iribovax®). Mozaffari has spent his PhD and post-doctoral studies (2007-2019) in a pioneer RNA laboratory at the Max-Planck-Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences in Germany (where the siRNA technology was first discovered in human and patented). Mozaffari’s research in the fields of mRNA processing and gene therapy has been distinguished by numerous prestigious international and national awards, including the Medal of the Max-Planck-Society, the KANZ award of the Mustafa foundation, the National Genetics Award and several awards from National Elite Foundation.

Professor Vallian obtained his PhD from the Department of Molecular Medicine at King’s College London, UK. Subsequently, he pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), USA. Currently, he serves as a Full Professor of Human Molecular Genetics at the University of Isfahan, Iran.
Professor Vallian's research focuses on identifying novel genes and biomarkers crucial for diagnosing and treating cancer and genetic diseases. Specifically, he is committed to ongoing research on identifying genes and molecular markers associated with drug resistance in cancer patients unresponsive to commonly used chemotherapy. His research employs both bioinformatic and experimental approaches to investigate and identify new genes and molecular markers.

🔸Dr. Amin Daemi

Dr. Amin Daemi is a biochemist hailing from Cukurova University of Medical Sciences in Turkey. His research encompasses diverse areas including the design of recombinant vaccines utilizing heat shock proteins and electroporation, notably pioneering the design, cloning, and production of HPV16E7CT (gp96) protein. He has also delved into areas such as diabetic wound healing, oxidative stress, plant extracts, and the development of a novel type of anti-angiogenesis molecular antibody. Dr. Daemi has also been active in utilizing nanoparticles in disease diagnosis and has investigated TPMT enzyme variants in inflammatory bowel diseases. Beyond research, he has served as a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing and as a researcher in clinical laboratories in Iran. Dr. Daemi's expertise has also been recognized through his roles as an editorial board member and referee for various medical journals.

Rght now I'm Assistant professor in Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences, Virology Research Center, and my project are focused on cancer immunotherapy by using optimized oncolytic viruses, here my colleague and I running multiple projects in collaboration with different institutes in Iran in the field of bladder, Breast, Ovarian, gastrointestinal cancer.
For the first time in Iran, we have started a clinical trial of cancer immunotherapy with oncolytic viruses, and the initial results show that this method is safe and effective in end stage patients.

🔹Abbas Yadegar, PhD, is a Medical Bacteriologist, and currently an Assistant Professor and the Head of Foodborne and Waterborne Diseases Research Center based at the Research Institute for Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He completed his master’s degree and Ph.D. in Medical Bacteriology from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. He established and leads the Iranian Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) program since 2015 in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. His main research interests focus on Helicobacter pylori, Clostridioides difficile infection, antimicrobial resistance, gut microbiota, and next-generation probiotics. Also, he currently undertakes basic, clinical, and translational research on exploring the potential role of the gut microbiome in human cancers, cancer prognosis and treatment.
