Forget about Gillick competency. Provincial law in Ontario under the Health Care Consent Act has 33 separate references to the age of consent being 16 years of age. The Toronto Star just printed an outright falsehood about there being no minimum age in the Act. I'm furious beyond words. They must print an immediate retraction.
