Thoughts?
When deciding on implementing PPE (personal protective equipment) first two things have to be determined in this order:
1. Is it Safe?
2. Is it Effective?

N95, surgical and nonmedical (cloth) masks are all immediately and long term harmful to health for this main (not only) reason:

A. Hazardous Capture of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) of over 20,000 ppm occurs just a few seconds after putting any one of these on and increases steadily with more wear time, physical exertion and speaking
High levels of CO2 in our body cause acidosis which results in inflammation, and could lead to brain damage, organ failure and even death. The body has short-term mechanisms to balance pH, but if the toxic accumulation is ongoing, these could be depressed or overwhelmed.
Health Canada maximum indoor air exposure limit on CO2 is 1000 ppm.

B. Effectiveness is irrelevant (no effectiveness, but that is beside the point) as it does not meet the first requirement to be safe.

Case in point, if you duct tape your mouth and nose shut, guaranteed you would not be able to inhale or exhale any viruses.
*This is why safety always comes before effectiveness.*
Please explain to me how the officials ordering the public to wear these carbon dioxide capture devices are not in jail?
