Think about the above for a second…is what David Ignatious wrote about me in 2017 (which we now know was totally false) consensual? It was a highly classified phone conversation that only someone deep in the USG could have known about, and the WAPO published it. DOJ, Give me a break!

Imagine there are 1000 puzzle pieces and every person gets one and they can only find the ones that are in their circles. Some of those people will never meet, if there is genuine separation there.

Then think about trying to show the pieces you’ve collected to someone else who can’t know firsthand or even secondhand. If you think of the top level people that way, it makes sense. I’m not sure Trump knows all the pieces. In fact, I assume he doesn’t.

I also think the plan is a never ending, A-B testing, decision tree. That’s also why I’m not convinced Pence is a good guy. It could be they just left him to his own devices at that point and just had both options fully gamed out beforehand.

None of us were perfect before this time or since. Neither are these people. This is a lesson in discernment. The people on ‘your team’ have done/will do things that make them look bad in certain people’s eyes. That’s life.

You should look directly at those things and see whether or not those things are the measure of the man (or woman, or Maddow). If it’s true and unforgivable, you have to hold that higher than tribal affiliation. If it’s not true, or you don’t think it’s a moral ill, then ignore it. But in neither scenario should you think the other person is the enemy unless you can prove it.

Lin Wood might be wrong or he might be going overboard or even way overboard. I doubt he’s lying, and assuming he’s a blackhat/shill/etc... seems silly to me.

If we all agreed on everything, we would’ve never gotten to the bottom of anything. We would’ve just taken someone’s word for it. We’re not being unfaithful to our team by taking criticisms seriously. If you believe you’re right, do the work and show everyone. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think any of these people are not ‘on my side’.
