Alligators survive in frozen swamps by sticking their noses through the ice to breathe.
Although alligators may appear to be dead, scientists say they are not. Alligators use this survival technique when the water begins to freeze. Their bodies are almost completely shut down, and all they have to do is breathe. Reptiles shut down their metabolism, and they don't need to eat their heart rate slows down, their digestive system slows down, and they just sit and wait for heat.

The main feature of a healthy cell
It has only one nucleus☝🏻
Our body may also have cells without a nucleus at all, but if there are several nuclei, it's pathological.
The only exceptions📌
The multinucleated cells of the liver, responsible for its regeneration, as well as the multinucleated cells of the skeletal muscles.

Today we're talking about the mysterious, misleading millipede.
🐛 This millipede was filmed in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador. Contrary to what their name suggests, millipedes do not have a thousand tiny feet. Instead, they typically strut around on as few as 40 legs and as many as 400. But, they can have many more. One white millipede, lllacme plenipes, was found in northern California with 750 legs! They are cryptic animals, too, meaning there are tens of thousands of species that remain a mystery to science.
🐛 Fossil evidence suggests that these creatures were the first animals to live on land—over 420 million years ago. That’s about 20 million years longer than the daddy longlegs spider, the second oldest life form to set up shop on solid soil.
