Scientists from the Harvard used the ancient Japanese art of KIRIGAMI to create their robot snake SEAS.

Scientists carved scales into the paper body of the bot, so these scales become flexible as it moves, clinging to the surface in the same way as its natural twins – snakes.

Behold... the stinky penis mushroom!

We're not kidding. This stinkhorn species is called Phallus rubicundus, and as you can maybe guess from the collection of flies on the 'tip', it has quite the odor. Our editor -  who took this photo - called it an ‘oh god the world is ending’ smell. 

These beautiful stinky specimens grow around the world, from southern and eastern United States to Australia!
