Why doesn't the Leaning Tower of Pisa fall?
⠀
Initially, the architect, Bonanno Pisano, who wanted to build the Leaning Tower of Pisa, conceived it as a straight line. The slope occurred due to the fact that the base of the tower stands on clay soil. This is not surprising, because the mass of the entire tower is equal to 14,500 tons.
⠀
When the foundation was already laid and three floors were erected, the builders noticed that the tower was deflected away from the vertical and work was stopped, but soon resumed again.
In total, the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa took 200 years. When the tower was fully completed, the slope was already almost 1.5 meters. After the completion of the work, the tower continued to fall, and the city authorities decided to carry out work on straightening and strengthening the structure.
⠀
At the moment, there is no danger of the tower falling, but it continues to tilt by several millimeters per year.

Why did Elizabeth II refuse to sit on the Iron Throne?
During a visit to Northern Ireland, Queen Elizabeth II visited the set of the TV series "Game of Thrones". There she was offered to sit on the Iron Throne, but the queen refused.
The showrunner of the series, David Benioff, later explained that there is an informal rule according to which monarchs should not occupy the throne of a foreign state, and Elizabeth II showed courtesy, although the throne was from a fictional world

In September 2021 as many as 7,500 active satellites orbited the Earth 🛰
Curiously enough, the first artificial satellite was put into orbit in 1957.
And in just one year (from 2020 to 2021) ~1400 new satellites were launched into space 🤔

Ulnar dimelia (mirror hand syndrome).
It is a phenomenon with the thumb missing, and the hand doubled.
Thus, a person has seven or eight fingers on one limb at once.
Most treatment is surgical, although some people adjust to the anomaly and live a normal life without resorting to surgery.

What is one gram of antimatter worth? 🤔
Currently, antimatter is the most expensive substance on Earth, costing about $62.5 trillion per gram of antimatter. Prospects for creating and utilizing antimatter as fuel for spacecraft are examined in a NASA paper.
For comparison, to produce the first atomic weapon, the cost of the Manhattan project was estimated at $23 billion.
