St. Edmund, king of East Anglia, met his death in 869 during the invasion of the pagan Danish armies into Britain. According to tradition, he refused the Danes’ demand that he renounce Christ. The Danes beat him, shot him with arrows and then beheaded him. St. Edmund was the patron saint of England 🏴 until replaced by St. George in the Middle Ages.

Lately, the world’s biggest threats have been microscopic in size.

But just how small are the particles we’re currently battling? And how does their size compare to other tiny molecules?
