The Charidotella sexpunctata beetle is a widely distributed insect in North America with a typical size of 5-7 millimeters.

These bugs are recognizable because of their golden coloration, but they also have the ability to change color whenever they need to. This change is due to microscopic valves that control the moisture level under their carapace.

This is the result of the self-induction phenomenon

According to Faraday's experience, when a magnet is inserted into a coil, there is an induction current in the coil. This current creates a magnetic field that will be directed against the external magnetic field (according to the lens rule). This means that the Magnet will resist while it is out.

In the current phenomenon, also note that the force acting on the magnet by the field generated by the induction current is called F it is always directed upwards. Since F has a drag force, the magnet will fall slower than normal as it passes through the coil.
