Chinese Buddhist statues from the Longmen Grottoes. The images, many once painted, were carved as outside rock reliefs and inside artificial caves excavated from the limestone cliffs of the Xiangshan. They were mostly built from the 5th to 8th centuries AD during the Northern Wei and Tang dynasties and are now listed as an UNESCO world heritage site

Former Russian POW Pyotr Palnikov (center, in uniform) stands in the Seelhorst Cemetery in Hanover and watches as the corpses of Russian POWs, foreign forced laborers and concentration camp inmates are exhumed by German civilians, forced into service by the Allies. U.S. Army soldiers of the 35th Infantry Division and members of the Allied Commission watch from behind, as do the local German population, who were ordered to attend the process, May 1945

▫️ The world's largest fertilizer exporters
Fertilizers in our country are rarely talked about as gold of some alternate color or as a national treasure - but, by the way, it is Russia that is the largest fertilizer exporter in the world! We export $12.5 billion worth of fertilizers per year compared to $10.9 billion from the second largest exporter China and $6.6 billion from Canada
That's about the food crisis. There are three major groups of fertilizers and for one of them, nitrogen fertilizers, the main raw material is natural gas! With which the European countries (and together they produce not much less fertilizer than we do) now have big problems

The Leidenfrost effect
At first, the ball is so hot that a layer of steam forms around it. As soon as it cools down enough, it comes into contact with water and makes it boil.

Funny owl Ulo — smart device for playing, communicating and tracking
Compact (with a tennis ball) security camera is made in the form of a funny owl that blinks and rotates its eyes, but at the same time performs many useful functions. The device, which must be connected to Wi-Fi, provides communication through the owl's eyes, which are mounted cameras. Actually, the main camera is located behind the transparent beak of an owl. Its surface is mirrored – in fact, the beak is a collecting lens that expands the camera's viewing angle. Just below is a microphone; the Ulo also has built – in orientation and motion sensors, a Wi-Fi module, and a lithium-polymer battery that can be charged from a USB port or household power supply.
