The ballet dancing robot

LEONARDO (or LEg ON Aerial Robotic DrOne) is the creation of researchers at California Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies, who came up with the idea of stabilizing a robot on two, rather clumsy legs.

To do this, they applied drone motors that keep the robot balanced and help it move, just like birds do when moving between walking and flying, using their wings. This feature opens up new opportunities, including spinning around like a real ballerina.
