TON is now 10x faster: Transactions in Just 3-5 seconds
The TON Core team has completed a major series of core optimizations for TON, planned for the first half of 2025. As a result, transaction finality under low to moderate network load has improved nearly tenfold - most operations now complete in just 35 seconds, compared to the previous 30-50 seconds.
Over this period, five updates were released, improving all key components of the network:
• Block validation;
• Cryptographic operations;
• Networking;
• Database performance;
• State serialization and deserialization.
Thanks to these changes, a single shardchain can now handle the current load of the mainnet - previously, up to four shards were needed. This means most operations - like token transfers or DEX swaps - are now processed within a single block, without cross-shard interaction.
Under high load, the blockchain will still scale via sharding, also implemented significant stability improvements for peak periods.

The bot operates on full decentralization principles and is simple to use. To send funds, just write a message in any chat, group, or channel using the format:

Verb Technology × Kingsway Capital to Launch a Toncoin Treasury Acquisition Company
Verb Technology has announced a private placement of approximately $558 million to establish the first publicly traded Toncoin treasury reserve, in partnership with Kingsway Capital.
The deal attracted participation from over 110 institutional and crypto investors, including Kingsway Capital, Vy Capital, Blockchain.com, Ribbit Capital, and Graticule (GAMA).
The transaction is expected to close around August 7, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. Following the completion, the company intends to allocate the majority of the net proceeds to purchasing Toncoin, further strengthening TON’s position in the institutional space.
