NFT fun facts:
Prominent novelist Victor Pelevin predicted NFT 5 years ago:
“… a contemporary artwork may consist of just a noscript. And it may be sold for a fantastic price. Yet you’ll never know about it, unless you’re the buyer. An artwork may be an ordinary copyable file. Or an uncopyable file. Or a blockchain datum. Or a material object. Or something else. Sometimes, it suffices to describe an artwork to reproduce it. Then its nature remains mysterious. In other cases, a buyer may decide to become the nominal owner of a freely copyable object – some major corporations do this for prestige. There are a lot of different possibilities. As a rule, the nature of the object on sale is not disclosed during the auction. Yet this does not mean that it remains a secret after the object is sold.”
Translated by Daniil Dynin, Victor Pelevin, iPhuck 10, 2017, EKSMO.

⚡️ Spotify is testing a new feature allowing artists to display and sell their NFTs!
As first reported by Music Ally:
Artists can already promote merch and tickets on their Spotify profiles. Now the streaming service is testing a feature that will let them also promote their NFTs.
Steve Aoki and The Wombats appear to be two of the artists taking part in the test, that is currently running for ‘select’ users of Spotify’s Android app in the US - they will then be able to tap through to view and buy them from external marketplaces.
🔊 By the way, we wanted to share some soundtrack extracts from The Others Will Join series - these were composed by Farhad Farzali and Katya Yonder, who sourced their inspiration in Azerbaijani folk, Soviet post-punk and American rap.
Listen, enjoy and look forward to the release of the entire series.
