Instigators would like to thank our partners for Art Dubai 2022 - artist Uta Bekaia, Window Project gallery and 4ARTechnologies for investing so much effort in the Sacred Creatures NFT drop. This collaboration proved to be beyond than successful: the whole collection was sold out within first 24 hours and became one of the most recognizable images of the fair.

MTV Video Music Awards adds Best Metaverse Performance Category for virtual concerts

The upcoming MTV Video Music Awards 2022 has created a new category this year in order to honor the best music performances in virtual spaces.
Nominees for the "Best Metaverse Performance" category include Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, BTS, Justin Bieber, Charli XCX and Twenty One Pilots, who all performed at various virtual events.
Online voting is currently available, and winners are set to be announced alongside the rest of the categories on August 28th on MTV.

Today, September 20th, is officially recognized as International NFT Day. On this day in 2017, the term NFT (non-fungible token) was officially coined by Dete Shirley from Dapper Labs in the form of the ERC-721 standard.
NFTs have only grown since then, with early staples like CryptoPunks becoming status symbols, Bored Apes reaching mainstream recognition through influencers and celebrities, and huge platforms like NBA Top Shot showing the power of authentic licensed collectibles from major intellectual property.

On September 15-17 the 10th edition of Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art
Fair took place featuring a new permanent section — DIGITAL.

As the curators of the section, the Instigators presented the
Phygital Is the New Digital exhibition project. Its participants (Denis
Davydov, Uta Bekaia, Ksenia Obukhovskaya, Kirill Rave, and Dmitry
Shabalin) tried to answer the most pressing questions: what justifies the
use of blockchain technology in art and how artists understand the
relationship between digital and physical objects.

Instigators are grateful to the artists who contributed to DIGITAL section and their teams who made it all possible!

Denis Davydov solo exhibition Jonim took place in a pop up space in iconic Le Marais, 3rd Arrondissement, with kind support of The Sarah Vinitz Foundation. Three new works under the same noscriptd series were first shown and extremely well received in the capital of France with an opening night almost turning into a block party.


October 22 - 23
Tbilisi, Georgia

DeGameFi was a first international web3 conference in Causasian region. With more than 1000 participants and 70 speakers, this event was a perfect occasion to display new series Beraqas, the Anahatas and the Vishuddha families, continuing collaboration between Denis Davydov and Uta Bekaia in the framework of Sacred Creatures project.
