The man who led the Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (ATTIP) before it was shut down in 2012 has told FOX News' Tucker Carlson that the government allegedly holds material taken from a UFO.

The "exotic material" from the alleged UFO is reportedly unique enough that it requires additional analysis to attempt to classify it.

"There’s enough uniqueness about it where it demands additional analysis, additional expertise. And thankfully there are pockets in the US government that are willing to have the conversation and conduct the analysis," he said.

This revelation comes ahead of an unclassified report on "unexplained aerial phenomena" which is expected to be delivered to Congress sometime in June.
