The second witness to claim British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell lured her into sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein has taken the stand to testify.
“Kate,” a pseudonym, said she was introduced to Maxwell during a trip to Paris in the mid-90s when she was just 17 years old.
Prosecutors say Maxwell then introduced her to Epstein, who allegedly sexually abused her in London. However, the defense argues that ‘Kate’ was not underage at the time, as the age of consent in the UK is 17.

Weather warnings have been issued for the storm sweeping in from the Atlantic, with the Met Office saying: "There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties."
