NASA Reveals Plans to DESTROY International Space Station in 2031
NASA has revealed plans to sink the International Space Station (ISS) in one of the most remote places on Earth - also known as a 'spacecraft cemetery.’
The ISS will be deorbited and steered towards Point Nemo, an uninhabited area of the south Pacific Ocean, where satellites and rockets are often put to rest.
The space station, which launched in 1998, was designed to last for 15 years, and will have been operational for over 30 by the time it is sent plunging into the ocean. The ISS of late has been regularly hit by technical problems, with astronauts reporting cracks, leaks and other problems with its systems.

Heavy snow, freezing rain and out-of-control winds have rocked the nation, with major travel complications.

UK to Fund $1.9 Billion Military Space Programs
A new military space strategy will see Britain invest huge sums of money in low Earth orbit satellites, and other space-related technologies over 10 years.
The British Defence Ministry says most of the multibillion-dollar investment will go towards global surveillance and intelligence support.
The UK also said it plans to strengthen partnerships with key allies, particularly NATO members.

The Trinity Spirit, a vessel able to store about 2mn barrels of oil, blew up early Wednesday, SEPCOL, which has the vessel on lease, said in a statement.

The electric currents generated by rotor blades of drones could make the air in the Martian atmosphere glow – the phenomenon known as ‘Saint Elmo’s fire.’
Using laboratory measurements and computer modeling, the scientists found that the spinning drone’s blades would run into tiny grains of dust in the Martian air, which causes an electric field.
The electric currents reportedly do not pose any threat to the Martian environment, but “offer an opportunity” to ‘improve our understanding of ‘triboelectric charging,’ NASA explained.

Ice and snow from Texas to the Northeast has seen thousands of flights canceled for the second day.
Most of the cancellations were out of Dallas, according to Flight Aware.
Southwest Airlines had the most with 940 flights grounded, American dropped 19% of its daily flights while Envoy Air canceled 58%.
