Curtain up — the stage is set! 🎭

The wait is over — the InteRussia theatre fellowship has officially opened at GITIS! Talented young actors from across the BRICS+ world have arrived in Moscow to dive into the spirit of Russian theatre, train with leading GITIS masters, and spend six weeks immersed in movement, speech, and the magic of the stage.

What’s ahead?

On day one, the fellows took part in the official opening ceremony, toured the GITIS campus, and jumped straight into their first class — an introduction to Vsevolod Meyerhold’s biomechanics.

As part of their hands-on program, the InteRussia fellows in energy explored the Gladkoe fuel terminal — one of Russia’s strategic energy hubs. The visit offered a close look at advanced petroleum quality control technologies and the daily rhythm of large-scale operations.

On-site, the group had the opportunity to:

🟣follow the process at the railway unloading trestle, where tank cars deliver their cargo;
🟣observe the precision of the automated truck loading station;
🟣step inside a high-tech laboratory conducting rigorous fuel testing;
🟣explore digital systems that monitor volumes and properties in real time.

This field experience not only deepened the fellows’ understanding of Russia’s energy infrastructure but also sparked discussions on innovation and international cooperation to shape the future of the sector.
