Pushkin's Birthday of a Celebration 🎉

The streets around the Pushkin statue were alive with poetry yesterday as the InteRussia fellows joined locals to honor Russia's greatest bard on his birthday.

The fellows, led by the renowned Elmira Afanasyevna from the Pushkin Institute, took center stage. Some declaimed Pushkin's verses to a captivated audience. Nerves melted away as the familiar refrains of "I Remember a Wondrous Moment" rang out in rich tones.

🔍 After the readings, the fellows were whisked off for a museum tour. Wandering among the exhibits, they delved deeper into the life, loves, and artistry of the master.

As the day drew to a close, we emerged onto the street once more, Russian literature coursing through our veins.

Our Journalists at SPIEF ⚡️

Journalists from the InteRussia programme just wrapped up their work at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that was held from June 5th to June 8th in Russia's cultural capital.

📌 #SPIEF is the biggest international economic event in Russia, bringing together top business leaders from around the world.

Our fellows were right in the thick of it, attending panel discussions and scoring interviews with some of the most influential speakers at the forum.

Over the past week, our fellows immersed themselves in:

The park's experts showcased the capabilities of their cutting-edge testing labs, clinical diagnostics facilities, and electrical engineering labs.

⚙️The Center for Neurosurgery

Our AI specialists witnessed the full ophthalmological patient care cycle, focusing on hardware analytical methods like MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray, plus the associated software and data formats.

⚙️NSU Advanced Engineering School

This unique school facilitates coordination between Akademgorodok's scientific cluster, Novosibirsk State University, and regional enterprises.

After an insight-packed week, our fellows took a break to visit Novosibirsk Zoo — Russia's largest - observing rare species in their natural habitats.

The Final Flight of Our Journalism Fellowship Program 🛫

Yesterday, the last plane took off carrying the final participants from our fellowship program jointly conducted with RT for journalists from the Middle East and North Africa region.

Over the past two weeks, fellows from Tunisia, Algeria, Somalia, Sudan, Egypt, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq and Syria immersed themselves in the world of Russian media. They visited RT head office, exchanged experiences with local colleagues, and shared their perspectives on the journalism profession.

For many, this was their first visit to Russia, and we aimed to provide them with an authentic and hospitable experience of our country. Hope the invaluable insights, skills and connections gained will enrich the future careers of our participants.

We find ourselves already missing their friendliness, curiosity and boundless enthusiasm. The doors at InteRussia remain wide open for you and your projects. Until we cross paths again, dear friends! 💔
