Over the years, we’ve been inspired by countless stories from our participants — how their perceptions of Russia deepened, evolved, and sometimes even completely changed. And that’s exactly what it’s about: clearing up doubts and revealing the life behind the headlines.

The heart of the InteRussia journalism fellowship?

🎥 Recording their very own reports.

Each fellow gets a chance to create their own report on a topic they care about the most — from idea to noscript to final cut. And all this — with the guidance and support of experienced RT Arabic journalists, who share their newsroom expertise every step of the way.

But Moscow isn’t just about studios and noscripts:

🏛 A powerful walk through history at the Victory Museum
🚇 An insider’s journey through Moscow’s transport system
🌍 And a visit to the National Center "Russia"

Next chapter? The Northern Capital is calling.

One of the best parts of InteRussia is watching how new professional connections turn into real international collaborations

Thanks to the fellowship, our medical fellows have opened the first chapter of partnership between Universiti Putra Malaysia and Sechenov University — starting joint work on research, publications and clinical skills development.

We’ll be watching closely as this partnership grows — and cheering for more shared success ahead!

Time to present: research defense day for our Russian studies fellows

After a month of hard work and countless consultations, our fellows in Russian studies finally presented their research drafts at the Pushkin Institute — the result of weeks of writing under the close guidance of their academic supervisors.

Here’s just a glimpse of what they’ve been working on:

🔍 Teaching Russian as a foreign language to Algerian learners
🔍 Pragmatic adaptation in audiovisual translation from Arabic into Russian (based on the Egyptian film The River of Love)
🔍 Lingua-semiotic features of polycode perfume ads on the Russian Internet
🔍 Cognitive processes behind causal prepositional-case constructions in Russian
🔍 Pictorial imagery in classical Russian literature

And we’ll be honest: even for native speakers, some of these topics sound like brain gymnastics.

Now comes the "easy" part: formatting, footnotes, final polishing — and selecting the right journal for publication!

The InteRussia program in Russian studies is implemented with the support from the Presidential Grants Foundation and in the cadre of New Generation program.
