Welcome everyone to my design project, a space where I will be sharing User Interface (UI) concepts to suggest to the best messaging platform in the world: Telegram. I will keep direct messages available and free of charge for everyone because I would love to receive your suggestions, criticisms and comments to help me improve little by little. If this inspires you to get started in the world of iOS UI design or in any other field like me, I would really appreciate your support with a Boost.
On the occasion of the 12th Anniversary of the creation of this wonderful platform that connects billions of people around the world Congratulations.

Genesis of Interface Design
Before I begin, I would like to thank some friends who, thanks to a conversation about features that could be suggested to Telegram, sparked my passion for user interface design, which I am still learning today, with obstacles and adversities, but with great desire. For privacy reasons, I will not mention them in this post, but I will let you know the impact that conversation had and what it has made possible to this day.
I previously created a channel called UIgrams where I planned to upload all the projects I would be working on, but due to a last-minute change of heart, I will only be doing so from this channel, so here we go. I hope this change does not cause any inconvenience and that you enjoy the new suggestions I will be bringing you gradually.
Note: this channel will be exclusively for user interface suggestions for Telegram iOS. It is unlikely that I will create mock-ups or concepts for the Android version in the future. Furthermore, until further notice, I will not be creating interfaces based on the new iOS 26 design (Liquid Glass) introduced in the latest mobile version, as I do not find it as attractive as its previous version, iOS 18.

Categories in Telegram Channels
Imagine a feature that transforms the way you discover and explore channels on Telegram: categories integrated into channel profiles. This tool would allow creators to tag their content with specific topics, making it easier to navigate and find related channels, and would be an improved version of the existing features known as Similar Channels and Recommended Channels.
Essentially, it would consist of defining "main categories" based on the channel profile (such as "Mobile UI" or "Cybersecurity"), with related subcategories (e.g. "iOS Design" or "Digital Anonymity"). Users could search and filter channels by these tags, easily discovering communities with similar topics, without getting lost in the app's immense library.

Suggestion Successfully Submitted!
My proposal for Categories in Channels has been successfully submitted via @design_bot for review by Telegram's design team. Hopefully, they will consider it innovative enough to implement it soon and we will see this feature in action!
To help make it a reality, I invite everyone to vote for it at @bugs using this link: Categories in Telegram Channels.

An Excellent Integration on the Way?
On 28 November, Telegram's Official Contests Channel revealed that three contests would be announced before the end of the year: two focused on design ¹ ² and one on programming. What caught my attention the most was the first one, aimed at interface designers to conceptualise an innovative feature that does not yet exist on the platform: 'Nodes'. Telegram describes them as spaces similar to Slack communities or Discord servers, which shows how it's drawing inspiration from other apps to enrich its ecosystem. This isn't a bad thing if it's done right and meets real user needs.
As a regular Discord user, I admire how its servers offer a unique and polished experience, with advanced role management, themed channels, and automations that make Telegram's groups (with topics) and channels seem basic in comparison. That's why streamers and artificial intelligence companies prefer Discord for their communities: seamless integrations and impeccable organisation facilitate everything from live events to automated support. Telegram could learn from this to improve its current tools.
This contest could inspire Telegram designers to refine a feature that transforms the app's communities, making management more intuitive and powerful. I would love to participate, but my old computer does not support modern design software; while I save up for a new one, I continue to learn about interfaces to gain proficiency. Anyway, I plan to create conceptual mock-ups of how I would structure an ideal community on Telegram, inspired by Discord, and share them here for feedback. What do you think? Let's hope "Nodes" arrives soon and revolutionises the platform!

I wish you all the best in this wonderful year of 2026, not simply because it is a new year, but because it is the continuation of a never-ending journey, which will be full of emotional ups and downs, like a roller coaster.
I hope this new chapter is extraordinary for each of you. May you reach that next level of mastery and find the fulfillment that comes from true accomplishment.
I will continue as I have done until now, improving my skills and learning more and more with each passing day so that I can offer you the product of my sacrifice, which you so richly deserve, because without your presence this would not be possible. Many thanks to all the people who have supported me in this dream, thank you very much!
