Leaker Sonny Dickson is back with a new dummy unit image showing all four iPhone 16 Pro color variants, including the rose gold or "bronze" unit that replaces Blue Titanium in the existing iPhone 15 Pro models. Due to the fact that Apple did not include a gold option in the iPhone 15 lineup, so a similar variant could see heightened demand.
One rumor suggests that Apple is using an improved process for finishing and coloring titanium, which will result in a glossier look than the brushed aluminum finish of the iPhone 15 Pro models. The glossy finish could look much more like the stainless steel that Apple used in prior years, but it will be more resistant to scratches.
The official color names are still unknown, but Apple may choose to stick with the Titanium colorway branding it used for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Dickson has already revealed the colors for the standard iPhone 16 models earlier.

A new image shared on social media appears to show the camera lens rings of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, reaffirming the previously leaked colors.
The image comes from the known insider Majin Bu on 𝕏. He describes the new color as “Desert Titanium”, and says that the color is “kind of dark gold”. He also compares it to the Deep Purple color of iPhone 14 Pro, stating that the color will be “relatively discrete and deep.”

Apple looks to diversify production beyond China, according to Bloomberg. The company has reportedly been considering producing its high-end iPhone Pro models in India for the last couple of years, and has now decided to manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models in India.
Initially, the iPhone 16 Pro models will be imported into the country, but Apple will start local assembly for both the domestic market and exports shortly after launch in mid-September, once the new product introduction (NPI) process is complete.
Training is said to be already underway for thousands of workers at Foxconn's factory in southern Tamil Nadu state as it rushes to produce the iPhone 16 Pro models as close to the global launch as possible.
Last year, Apple had India-made iPhone 15 models ready on launch day, with locally made iPhone 15 Plus models becoming available shortly after.
