Here an article one of my students shared with me. I love it because it contains good vocabulary related to #autumn. Look:
"... about California’s fall foliage."
(FALL = 'autumn' in American English; FOLIAGE = tree leaves)
"... trees are swapping their summer greens for reds, ..."
(SWAP = change)
"... where the autumn hues sweep from north to south..."
(HUE = color)
What does #fall look like in your region? Have the leaves already turned gold? What colors do you see parading down the mountains or across the forests?

VOCAB.
MAKE WAVES = to be very active so that other people notice you, often in a way that disturbs other people.
'It's probably not a good idea to start making waves in your first week in a new job.'
Today is International Teachers' Day.
What do you think makes a great teacher? Can you think of some teachers who inspired you or changed your life? How did they do it?
The #weekend is a good time to sleep in, have a lie-in and catch up on your shut-eye.
Have a great weekend!
Once a student asked me, "What's the most difficult thing about learning English?" and I replied, "Vocabulary, because it's endless." Yes, it is.
I was watching a TV series the other day, when I heard an unfamiliar word, "PUGILIST," which I immediately looked up. A pugilist is a boxer. Yes, a boxer, a professional fighter. My jaw dropped. I was like, "Why? Why?! Why do you need another word for a 'boxer'? Can't you just say 'boxer'?" Endless indeed.

Check out this British Film Festival. All the films are shown in English with Russian subnoscripts. Check the "Talks" page too, they sound fascinating.

#IELTS is everywhere.
My student has just sent me an ad he received from SAS. The ad is almost a textbook example of #Speaking Part 2.
Look at the adjectives: vibrant, cosmopolitan, world-leading, magnificent, unspoiled, spectacular, magnificent, majestic, cozy. (What a wonderful array of adjectives to describe places!).
But it's not just adjectives. There are wonderful phrases, like: culinary scene, bars popping up, has something for everyone.
