Our leading account manager, Olga Kharitonova, has prepared a detailed guide on how regular PR support differs from one-time special projects, and why both of these formats are important for brand promotion on the market.

REGULAR PR

Also known as a retainer or PR support.

This is a long-term building of communication and relationships between the brand and its consumers

📎STRENGTHS
- the constant presence of the brand in the information field (the brand is always on the ear, it will not be forgotten)
- the ability to build a long-term strategy for the brand
- increasing awareness among the target audience of the brand
- communicating the values and usefulness of the brand to consumers

Oh God, it's Monday!

On 28th of July in Tbilisi, Georgia the most famous cryptocurrency exchange and our client - Binance - held an event - Binance MeetUp.

This event united more than 300 visitors from different countries of Central Asia, who are interested in cryptocurrency.
The meeting was dedicated to the development of the crypto industry in Georgia and the regulation of cryptocurrencies in the country.
ITCOMMS was so happy to help in organizing the #BinanceMeetUp, PR support for the event and gathering guests. Fascinating!

To measure or not to measure?

Modern communicators have the tools and understanding of how they can be used to achieve goals and measure results. Traditional PR has been replaced with integrated communications and a pool of PESO channels in the digital space. All PESO channels are equally important and help to achieve the necessary results, while shared content helps to measure strategy results

We need metrics to see whether our business and communications change. They may be relative rather than absolute, but we still need them if we want to move meaningfully toward our business goals through PR.

So our point of view - measure of course! A PR managers should understand how their activities may affect company profits. Maintaining that PR has no effect on profits is harmful.

"If a marketer or a PR specialist say they have been working in the industry for 20 years and that PR cannot be measured, and they use this argument in discussions, you should fire them or choose another candidate, because it means that this person does not understand what needs to benefit the company now or in a year, and why it should be done a certain way and not another."

Want to share the new portion of achievements

Last weekend, on August 20, our team with the support of the partner Invest In Armenia held an educational meetup "PR Saturday for IT companies and startups" in Yerevan.

The participants learned:
► how to work with influencers
► what goals can a business achieve with the help of publications in the media
► how offline events help increase brand awareness
► key differences between PR and marketing

Armenian IT companies have a huge potential for promotion in foreign markets. Therefore, with our 20 years of expertise in PR for IT, we simply could not remain indifferent: the number of unicorn startups in the country will grow, and for their development they just need to press the PR button.
