A reminder from ITMO Migration Services Office 📣
Remember to bring your passport, migration card, and registration when leaving the dorm. Keep in mind that on New Year's Eve, foreign nationals may be asked to present their documents to the police. If possible, prioritize celebrating at home rather than going out at night!

2025 was a movie, and our international students were the stars 🌟
As we wrap up yet another incredible year, let's look back at the moments that defined it for our international community. From the snowy reaches of Yamal to the historic streets of St. Petersburg, our students have been studying, growing, exploring, and building a home away from home ❤️
Thank you for bringing your passion, resilience, and unique perspectives to our university. Whether you were mastering a new language or discovering the "Spirit of the North," you’ve made 2025 unforgettable.
Here’s to more adventures, more friendships, and more "aha!" moments in 2026 🥂

Freeze the study, not the fun: here's your winter break guide! ❄️
St. Petersburg is a gateway to some of the most magical winter spots in Russia. Whether you’re a nature lover or a history buff, here is your international student-approved travel guide for the holidays.
⚠️ However, don't get "frozen" out – migration rules to remember
To keep your student status safe while you explore, the Migration Office reminds all international students to follow these essential steps:
🔵 Email before you go: send your travel tickets to omu@itmo.ru so they know where you are.
🔵 Hotel check: if you stay in a hotel, always take the registration paper they give you when you leave.
🔵 The 3-day rule: once you’re back in St. Petersburg, you have 3 working days to visit the Migration Office and refresh your registration.
🔵 The golden trio: never leave home without your passport, migration card, and registration.
For questions, email at omu@itmo.ru or call 480-09-17
