The State of Florida has refused my request for changing my gender on my birth certificate but allowed my name change. This is a violation of the court order stating that my name and gender have been legally changed.

Has anyone else born in Florida had this same issue and did it ever get resolved? Also, if anyone knows a lawyer, could you please have them get in touch with me.

I've been informed by several people that Florida will not adjust the "sex" marker even with the proper paperwork and was told my state's office and federal knows about this and currently provides a way around it.
