IELTS Examination at Jimma University – Registration Now Open

We are pleased to announce that the British Council IELTS test will be held at Jimma University on Saturday, 7 March 2026. Registration is now open for all interested candidates, including Jimma University academic staff, students, and the wider public.

How to Register Online:

1. Visit the official registration portal:
       🔗 ieltsregistration.britishcouncil.org
2. Select "IELTS Academic".
3. Under "Choose country/territory", select Ethiopia.
4. When asked "Where would you like to take your test?", search for and select Jimma.
5. For "When would you like to take your test?", choose the date 7 March 2026 and click "Search for tests".
6. View the listed test components (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) and click "Book Test".
7. Complete the online form by:
   · Entering your personal details accurately.
   · Correctly providing your date of birth (Day, Month, Year in the Gregorian Calendar).
   · Providing a valid, frequently used email address and creating a password.
   · Uploading the required scanned documents:
     · Bank payment receipt
     · Passport or National ID Card

Important Notes:

· Email Address: A valid email is essential. Your registration confirmation, payment details (account number, reference number), and all test updates will be sent to this address.
· Payment: Please do not pay before registration. Complete the online form first, and the payment instructions will be emailed to you. Upload the payment receipt during your application.
· Preparation: This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a convenient test location. We advise registering early to secure your place.
