Germany, Qatar sign energy partnership agreement - Reuters News

BERLIN, May 20 (Reuters) - Germany and Qatar signed on Friday a declaration to deepen their energy partnership, with a focus on trade in hydrogen and liquefied natural gas (LNG), as Europe's biggest economy looks for alternative supplies amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The partnership deal foresees regular meetings between authorities from both countries and creates a working group focused on developing trade relations in LNG and hydrogen, as well as one devoted to renewable energy.
Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani was in Germany for the signing of the deal with German Economy Minister Robert Habeck, who travelled to Qatar in March, along with officials from German utilities RWE RWEG.DE and Uniper UN01.DE, for talks on long-term LNG supply deals.
The agreement does not mean long-term LNG deals will be concluded, three people familiar with the supply deal talks told Reuters earlier this month.
Those talks face challenges, they said, with Berlin reluctant to commit to Qatar's conditions to sign deals of at least 20 years to secure the massive LNG volumes Germany needs to reduce its dependence on Russian gas. (Full Story)
Russia is currently the largest supplier of gas to Germany, and Habeck has launched several initiatives to lessen Berlin's energy dependence on Moscow since the invasion of Ukraine.

블로그, 텔레그램, 유튜브 강추합니다. 무형자산이 쌓이고 기회도 많이 생깁니다. 다만, 최근 돌아 다니면서 우려되는 것이 있어서 한말씀 드리자면, '모두까기 인형'은 되지 말아 주세요. 유독 남을 까는 컨텐츠를 하는 분들이 있는데, 그러다가 나중에 심하게 부러지거나 다칩니다. 제발요. 오늘 제가 텔레에서 좀 방방 뛴 것도 비슷한 이유 때문인데요.
가뜩이나 희귀한 펀더멘털 베이스 투자자들끼리라도 잘 지냅시다. 남을 까면 시니컬 하고 스마트 해 보인다고 착각할지 모르지만 전혀 그렇지 않습니다. 갈수록 고립되고 뒤에서 욕 먹어요.
그리고 이래저래 화면 뒤에서 팀 만들어서 떼로 몰려 다니며 내로남불도 하지 말구요. 예를 들면 '우리편은 주식 유료 사업 해도 되지만, 우리편 아닌 사람은 다 사짜에 쓰레기야'라던가. '우리편 사람들은 다 주식 잘 하는데, 우리편 아닌 사람들은 다 사짜에 개초보야'라던가.. 너무 유치하잖아요. 그리고 어른이잖아요. 우리. 그리고 좀 솔직해지면 좋겠다는 생각도 들고요.
인성, 매너, 겸손 따질거면 나부터 먼저 그래야 합니다. 은근히 뒷담까고, 생판 모르는 투자자들 조롱하고 그러면서 입으로 인성, 매너 따지면 얼마나 웃겨요 사람이.
엥간하면 다른 사람 비판도, 뒷담화도 안 하는게 장기적으로 좋습니다. 내 할일만 합시다. 남들은 남들대로 다 자기 자리에서 행복하게 살고 있어요. 왜 조용히 사는 사람을 건드려요 자꾸. 자기 계좌, 자기 인생이나 신경 씁시다. 친중 아저씨들 똥 그만 찍으시고요.
