I'm reading /stuff/ in the reports of people who have attended the most recent Rituals of the tour and it seems like Perpetua is slowly letting himself go on stage and I'm very happy about that but at the same time I've come to two conclusions:
1) The no phone policy is clearly an excuse for him to be slutty as hell without any video evidence /joking
2) If there will be a Re-Skeletour I will buy tickets asap because I physically need to see him UNHINGED

It seems absurd to me that no one has mentioned this, but I tried to search around and I didn't seem to find anything, so I will.
I am a big fan of the trans Perpetua theory and, in addition to the breadcrumb trail provided by music videos, today I want to offer new material in favor of this hypothesis:
His miter
Not the one from the great Papa dress, but the one he wears when he has my favorite dress, which is the magnificent cassock with the bones on the back and the tail.
The miter from the Papa dress is a normal miter, bedazzled but similar to those of previous Papas.
The one he wears with that cassock instead has a particular shape.
In the center is a miter but around it has an extra part in transparent black fabric.
That part replicates the shape of an abbess's headdress (for those who don't know, the abbess is the head of a convent of nuns).
Since all the evidence points to Perpetua having grown up in a convent and there are a lot of nuns in the iconography of this new era, I like to think that this choice represents the present of the Papa he is now (the miter made of regal and very tangible fabric) but also the ghost of what he was/could have been (the transparent abbess's headdress that surrounds the base of the miter).
Adding this kind of narrative subtext to costume details and accessories is the basis of theatrical costume design and something costume designers LOVE to add.
